Pickleball brings even more energy, and the region’s mild climate ensures year-round enjoyment of both sports in a vibrant, friendly setting.
Residents enjoy six Har-Tru® tennis courts, four Pickleball courts, and access to on-site pros for year-round instruction. The Pro Shop offers gear and tennis apparel, while bi-annual court maintenance ensures top conditions. A courtside pavilion and patio provide welcoming spaces to relax, connect, and enjoy the game.
Community tennis and pickleball, USTA and Lowcountry Pickleball leagues, and inter-club matches offer both social and competitive play. Callawassie teams have proudly earned trophies over the years. Our racquet sports professionals continue to support the island’s tennis and pickleball community, helping the sports thrive through instruction, events, and enthusiastic participation.
The Callawassie Racquet Club (CRC) coordinates many events throughout the year that encourage camaraderie and forge relationships among residents. Throughout the year, the CRC embarks on a group trip to the Charleston Open on nearby Daniel Island, and throws parties such as Kentucky Derby Day, the Summer Luau, and an end-of-year Holiday Party.
