Fitness is a hallmark of the Callawassie Island lifestyle. On our island, you’ll find so many different avenues for getting active and bettering your health. Whether through jogging, walking, swimming, or biking, we encourage our residents to take advantage of the beautiful weather and to get outside — and our Fitness Center offers all the equipment and support you need to achieve your goals and maintain good health.

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center features advanced cardio equipment, a group class area, and treatment rooms for massage and physical therapy. Our certified Fitness Director leads conditioning and wellness programs, manages guest instructors, and supports residents with classes, nutrition planning, health screenings, and equipment guidance.

Swimming

Our island features two geothermic, year-round pools—one at the Clubhouse, reserved for adults, and one at the River Club for families. Whether swimming laps or cooling off, both pools offer comfort and convenience, with seasonal poolside lunch service available at the River Club from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Walking & Biking

With scenic paths winding through 880 acres, our island is perfect for walking, jogging, or biking. Marsh views, shady live oaks, and glimpses of the golf courses create a naturally inspiring backdrop. It’s easy to stay active, enjoy fresh air, and connect with neighbors along every stretch of the way.
