Callawassie Island River Club

Situated on the majestic Colleton River, The Callawassie Island River Club provides a casual setting for socializing with friends and neighbors. This comfortable community clubhouse includes a library and fireplace inside, with a family swimming pool, sundeck, and fire pit area outside so you can enjoy the wonderfully warm and sunny Lowcountry weather.  The gazebo at the end of our nearby deep-water docks is an idyllic spot to have a picnic lunch and watch bottlenose dolphins play.

The deep-water docks give access to the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean, and provide mooring for residents, visitors, and guests for several days at a time. A kayak launch area is also available at the end of the main dock.

Callawassie Island residents and their guests frequently gather on the sundeck by the pool for cookouts, crab boils, oyster roasts, and other unique joys of Lowcountry living.  It's a great place to relax and sunbathe after a round of golf or a tennis match, and is the host location for our monthly Wine Down Thursdays.
