Besides the weekly Ladies Day and Mens Day, Callawassie Island offers casual "show-up golf" for golf groups of all abilities almost every day of the week. Just inform the Pro Shop and show up at the allotted tee time. With 27 holes of golf, pre-arranging your own tee time is easy, and on many afternoons, you can come out, check with the Pro Shop, and play. Walking the course is also encouraged, and on many winter days you will see golfers carrying their bags or pushing a cart.

Callawasie Island residents enjoy an amazing array of social activities, frequently featuring dancing and always highlighted by great food from our accomplished chef. Many of our members are active in the Beaufort Shag Club, dancing regularly in Beaufort and even traveling to North Myrtle Beach (where shag has its roots) and Columbia for dance weekends. It's a great way for newcomers to immerse themselves in the local culture, learn a new skill, and meet new friends.
