River Club

The River Club, on the majestic Colleton River, provides a casual setting for socializing with friends and neighbors. It consists of a community clubhouse with a library and fireplace, family swimming pool, and deep-water dock.  The gazebo at the dock’s end is the idyllic spot to have a picnic lunch, watch the dolphins at play, or toast a beautiful sunset at the end of a gorgeous day.  Callawassie Island residents and their guests gather on the sun deck by the pool to enjoy cookouts, crab boils, oyster roasts, and other festive occasions.   It’s a great place to relax, sunbathe, or read books retrieved from the library. 

The deep-water dock, with access to the Intercoastal waterway and Ocean, provides mooring for residents, visitors and guests for several days at a time. A kayak launch with a daily storage rack is also available.
